25+ Years Caring For Horses I started riding at 10 years of age and as I progressed, I showed A-circuit hunter until the end of high school, working with some of the best trainers in the area. Soon thereafter, I joined Adena Springs Farms where I stayed for almost 20 years. Breezing some of the best thoroughbreds in the country are some of my fondest memories. I then moved into their foaling division for many years. Most recently, I spent 10 years working at the training operations at Colebrook Farms. I worked with yearlings, two and three-year-olds getting them ready for the track. The yearlings soon accepted the equisizer, saddle, and starting gate. I loved it all and learned from some of the top horsemen in the country. I owe them all so much. My love of the thoroughbred has never waned, and the friends I made over the years often call me up looking for a home for one of their horses that just isn't fast enough for the track. I have found homes for countless OTTBs and continue to do so when I think I can find a good match. |
