Rehab and Sport Horse Injury We are a veterinarian supervised equine rehabilitation centre with over 25 years of experience working with a wide array of injuries that often occur in performance horses. We work with sport horses from all disciplines. We specialize in three core areas: Post-surgical through return-to-training Injury requiring stall rest and special care Pre-conditioning and Conditioning after lay-off When your horse arrives, our professional staff works with your veterinarian to develop an individual rehabilitation plan. If a horse arrives without an attending veterinarian, the owner will be given our own veterinarian-assisted options to ensure an optimum outcome. In addition to our primary care services, we offer the availability of the following health specialist in the area: Acupuncture Chiropractic/Massage Therapy Dental Nutritional Therapeutic Farriers Our specialist can work with you to get your horse back to good health. Our specialists also provide regular clinics at our facilities to better educate the equestrian community in maintaining good health in their horses. Services we provide, per your instruction, include: round the clock care special bedding slings individual turnout in small safe paddocks round pen hot and cold hosing medication administration special feeding arena hand walking hand grazing special diet daily record keeping for both the owner and the attending veterinarian hoof care Other, in consultation with you and/or your veterinarian Daily Rates Available If you have an injured horse and your current facility is inadequately staffed to care for its needs, our staff is prepared to care for your horse for whatever length of stay you require, whether it be a few days, a few months, or an extended stay.
